ESIL and EuroQuity E-PITCHING SESSION: Showcasing Cleantech and Edtech Innovations

ESIL recently hosted a virtual event on the 26th of November, featuring five exceptional companies from the cleantech and edtech sectors. This event brought together innovative startups from France, Hungary, Romania, The Netherlands, and Spain, who pitched their novel solutions. Let’s take a look back at the innovative technologies that were showcased during this pitching session!

Cleantech Companies: 

  1. HSL Technologies (HySiLabs): HSLTechnologies presented the audience their groundbreaking solution in the cleantech and hydrogen industry. They have developed a liquid hydrogen carrier that can transport and store the molecule using existing liquid infrastructure. What sets them apart is their carrier’s ability to release hydrogen for usage simply by adding water, eliminating the need for extra energy. (Seeking 50M Series B) 
  2. Fairbrics: Fairbrics presented their innovative approach to combating climate change in the textile industry. Their circular manufacturing processes utilise renewable resources instead of fossil fuels. By converting harmful industrial CO2 into polyester, Fairbrics enables brands to greatly reduce their carbon footprint while maintaining exceptional quality. (Seeking 15M Series A) 
  3. TITECH: TITECH showcased their eco-friendly solutions for the blue economy. Their NBS (Noble Biofouling Solutions) technology, based on electrochemistry over titanium surfaces, addresses biofouling challenges in marine, industrial, and environmental applications. (Seeking 3M Pre-Series A) 
  4. Cleanspire PRO: Cleanspire PRO, developed by OMBM Labs, introduced Europe’s only capsule-based cleaning solution. Their innovative approach reduces logistic costs, storage space, and plastic waste for cleaning companies. (Seeking 700K Pre-Series A) 

Edtech Company: 

    5. Spark Generation: Spark Generation, an edtech company, presented their all-in-one AI tool for schools. Their platform aims to enhance secondary school students’ performance through comprehensive support and personalised learning. (Seeking 2M Seed)
